Life is like a rolling dice, where and when you are born, luck fluctuates your life and you simply have to try your best to pick the right cup and stare at the right cup at the right moment. There are five chapters and five women appearing in this video, each with their own dice, hidden in different cups.
The video was beamed through the door, and the audience could choose to stand out of the door to see the beamed moving image, or to stand inside the door to witness cropped & shadowed beamed moving image while listening to the narration, spoken softly behind them.
삶은 마치 주사위 굴리기 마냥 한 사람이 언제, 어디서 태어나는지에 따라 운이 출렁대며 인생을 뒤흔들고, 이 때 우리가 할 수 있는 일이라곤 그저 최선을 다해 눈을 크게 뜨고 적절한 타이밍에 옳다 생각하는 컵을 선택하는 수 밖에 없는 것 아닐까? 조금쯤 얄팍하고 삐딱한 마음으로 다섯 개의 챕터를 통해 다섯 명의 여자들을 들여다 본다. 모두 각자의 주사기를 던지고 굴린 여자들을.
영상은 문을 통해 영사되어 관객은 문 밖에 서서 영사 된 영상을 보거나, 문 안에 서서 조용히 속삭이는 나레이션과 함께 조금쯤 잘려나가고 문의 그림자가 들어선 영상을 바라볼 수 있다. 서있는 곳에 따라 볼 수 있는 것과 들을 수 있는 것이 달라진다.
