Part of an ongoing drawing series begun in 2024. The frame takes the structure of a window.
If a person is a house of memories, then each house has walls of a different thickness and a different number of windows. When one opens up, we are looking into someone else's house through the crack. That looking also makes me a foreigner to what I am looking at. We are each a witness to and a carrier of landscapes, people and lands not our own.
2024년에 시작해 진행 중인 드로잉 시리즈의 일부다. 프레임은 창의 구조를 갖는다.
사람이 기억으로 지어진 집이라면, 각각의 집은 서로 다른 두께의 벽과 서로 다른 개수의 창을 가지고 있다. 창이 하나 열릴 때, 우리는 타인의 집을 비스듬히 열린 틈 사이로 들여다본다. 그 바라봄은 동시에 나를 내가 보고 있는 것으로부터 타자화시킨다. 우리는 모두 내 것이 아닌 풍경과 사람과 땅의 목격자이자 운반자다.
